Temple sweeps Big 5 weekly honors
The Philadelphia Big 5 has named Lavoy Allen and Marli Bennett of Temple its Big 5 Players of the Week. Allen averaged 15.5 points and 17 rebounds in a 1-1 week, while Bennett helped the Owls to wins over Saint Joseph's and La Salle. She scored 11 points in both games.

Kristen McCarthy led all players with 15 points, while Natasha Thames led the Owls and all players with a career-high 11 rebounds.
