PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Temple senior Khalif Wyatt and La Salle senior Ramon Galloway were selected as Big 5 Men's Basketball Co-Players of the Week while Saint Joseph's Redshirt-Senior Forward Chatilla van Grinsven earned Big 5 Women's Player of the Week honors.

Wyatt averaged 29.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3 steals in a 1-1 week.  He had career-highs of 35 points and six steals and made 15-of-15 at the charity stripe in a one-point loss to Duquesne.  In a come-from-behind road win at UMass, he scored a game-high 24 points, hit 6-of-11 treys, and assisted on the 3-pointer that won the game.

Galloway averaged 19.5 points and 8.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Explorers, who clinched at least a share of the Big 5 Championship with their victory over Saint Joseph’s.  Against the Hawks at the Palestra, Galloway scored 16 points and set a career-high with 12 assists, the most by an Explorer since 2001.  Earlier in the week, he netted 23 points including four 3-pointers and dished out five assists in an overtime win against St. Bonaventure.

Van Grinsven averaged 14.5 points and 14 rebounds per game in a pair of overtime victories.  At Duquesne, she had 15 rebounds and 19 points including the game-winning free throws with 20 seconds left in the extra session.  In a Big 5 victory against Temple, van Grinsven had a team-high 13 rebounds to go along with 10 points.  She had a key steal and layup in overtime to help seal the win.
